Anybody archery hunt in Hilman SP or nearby SGL 117? Just curious of your opinions.

I have bow hunted there and will this year due to loss of private land spot. Not real psyched about it based on my past experiences :-(

That seems to be the opinion from everyone I have talked to, which is very disappointing. I would expect it has to be holding a lot of deer, I drove down Haul Rd one day last spring and saw 2 road kill doe within .5 miles of each other. I am just looking for a place a little closer to home. I do hunt private land in Butler County but that requires a full day, was hoping to find a place I could hunt a few hours after work before we change the clocks...
