three of us use them and they are great but if your shooting a auto you might want to make sure if you shoot the hevi-shot that it ejects them and picks up the next one we had some problomes with them so now i went back to shooting winchester surppreum out of it and the pattern is still great

I have a Rem. factory Hevi-Shot tube for for my 870 Super Mag. I shoot the "old, original" Rem. 3.5" Hevi-Shot loads through it. It patterns very well and I did kill my best gobbler to date with it. I still hunt with lead loads and find that they work as well as they ever did. Besides the sport of turkey hunting is calling them in close.

Do you really need 3.5 to shoot them close? They only weight 20-25 lbs. alive.
No, you don't need them but the 3 1/2" Mags. shoot the best patterns in my gun.

Yeah they work good! 3 1/2 Check yes! less wounded more killed! Check Yes! Anytime you can improve chances of less wounded and increase total chance itself then its totally worth it! So 3 1/2 is a fine choice if thats what you shoot! Just like a .300wsm is a fine choice over a .223 both do the job but a .300 does a much much better job!

Always good to make positive improvements! Remember its not a game of lets see who can kill a turkey or deer with the least powerful caliber. Its to make a good humane kill.

And this has what to do with the choke? That's an issue with the gun, not he choke...
