This is my first year trapping im 18 and i just cant seem to catch a fox i have missed two but not caught any. Can someone give me some advice?

Keep trying.. at least you know your close LOL. I caught my first reds with a hay bale set. Once I caught the first you couldn't keep them out of that remade set.

devin,location,location the best made set won't catch a fox if its not where their traveling,sounds like your on location if you missed some.2nd make sure your trap is bedded solid no movement when you push on any part of trap.good luck hope you get your first fox.

i have had fox walk right past to and by looking at there tracks they dont even stop

Make sure your sets are upwind of the suspected travel route of the fox, if it is then your lure is not interesting enough to draw them to your set...

Like Denny said, The fox can pass feet from your set but if the wind is blowing the wrong way the fox will never know its there.
