does it have full rifling to the muzzle or does it have 1/2" of smooth to the muzzle ?....

Bought new in 1976.

Rifled all up to muzzle. It's not a QL

No true way to tell date of manufacture. T/C not required by law to keep records of black powder rifle production. Most all records of total T/C production and sales were lost to massive fire in 1996..
