Good luck. I've been looking at bear hunts in Maine for a few years and I can't say that I've ever found one under $1200.

I just checked and Maine registers guides operating in that state. If I were you, I'd call the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, get a list of registered guides, and start calling them.
