I have been hunting for over 40 years. I have worn hearing protection when shooting hunter clays or trap but never hunting. Recently, I have noticed ringing in my ear after a few shotgun blasts hunting small game. It has raised my concern about hearing so I have purchased a Walker's Game Ear. I plan to just get one for the ear receiving most of the blast. I was wondering if others have this problem or is it just me getting old?

Get one for each ear. My ears hiss 24 hours a day, you do not want that!

John has it right, get them for both ears. I can hear sounds in the leaves when I hunting, but they're never coming from where I expect!

Like they said get one for each ear, you'll be able to tell what direction a noise is coming from better. I used Walkers for 10 years before going to regular hearing aids.
