Nice pics. What is the plant that it is feeding on? I have something similar that the seeds were given to me and nobody seems to know what it is?
Wonder if this moth is in the family of the hummingbird moth? They look a little alike
Sorry I didn't read the caption at the top. Now I see where you named the plants.

Flower is a Datura.We used to call them Wedding Bells.Blooms at nite.There is enough nectar in one you can pour it out.Sad part is some kids make some kinda dope with it.Hear a person in Ephrata had some and the bourgh made here take them out.Will have lots of seeds this fall if anyone wants some.You can buy on E-bay so I guess its OK to give them away.
Mothes come around right after dark.Really tame as you can pick them up.
I only would HATE to hit one of these monsters with the shield on my cycle helmet!
