This sounds really cool. I think I'm going to have to try it. If your not a member do you need to be there with a member as a guest? Plus what about using the Pa Conicals, there's no condom on them?
No, you don't have to be a member and you don't have to come with a member. It is patched round ball only.

Patched round balls only. No member escort needed just show up and shoot, cost is $3.00 to shoot for fun. If you want to shoot the league there is a one time sign up fee and $4.00 per 10 target round.
There is usually food and drinks in the club house.

You will be taken through the course in groups of 5 to 8 shooters by a range officer/score keeper, usually takes about an hour to shoot the course.

Targets are scored hit or miss if your gun clatches three times it is considered a miss for that target.
The shoot starts at 8 ends at 2:30

would be nice to see some new shooters(there is no better practice with a muzzleloader than this type of course)

Boy do I remember that shoot. I started shooting at HH&A in 1980. Still see a couple faces in those pics I recognize and use to shoot against. The big guy on the left is Mike Cole of Coles Bikes and Guns in Carlisle. Mike and I started shooting in competion back at the old Mechanicsburg and Carlisle shoots. That woods walk is great fun. Been at least 10 years since I shot at Harrisburg. I will try to make one or two this winter as I could use the practice.
