Im new to PA and i was just wonderin if anyone could tell bout handgun hunting like what is the smallest caliber i can use and if i can use semi automatics or do i have to use revolvers

Revolver, lever action, hamonica gun, double barrel, single shot, any Pistol so long as it isn't semi or full auto. There are some caliber restrictions as set forth in the Digest. As for groundhogs, it doesn't matter if it is pin fire, needle fire, etc. otherwise they must be centerfire or rim fire within the caliber restrictions. And muzzleloaders for that season must be single shot.

You do, but you could carry your fathers handgun if you lived at home with him at 18 under a sportsmans permit for hunting.
