First cast produced this guy. He must have been hungry he took my size 6 anchor nymph. a large stonefly (not my new woven flies)



The next few casts produced this guy on my twisted caddis patern







The reel performed flawlessly. Special thanks again to attackone for helping me learn the ropes with euro nymphing and tying woven flies. Someday we will get to fish together.

Nice trout. I don't usually think of fishing in the winter months.

Yep winter is by far my favorite time to fish. but then again i am not that big on dryfly fishing so i am not missing much. I love the quiet, the stream to myself, and believe it or not i like fishing the inclimate weather.

very nice, makes me wanna go fishing but way to cold here. have had great luck during the winter months but with the current air temp of 3 degrees with a negative windchill factor its gonna be a few weeks,hoping for good weather mid feb and later.
