next time take a picture of all the garbage you dig as well, it helps people appreciate how much work goes into this. I used to post only my coins and people started thinking it was easy, but got frustrated when they dug 10pieces of trash to every coin. Kind of puts it into perspective for the newbies.

nice hunt btw

Jeez, them pull tabs. Imagine how many BILLIONS there are!!!
Not a problem if you're one of them television heroes. Those guys got machines with the kind of discrimination that allows them to walk around inside a foundry all day without settin' the machine off, and when it does finally scream like a banshee it turns out that they've found the little metal tip from Alexander Hamilton's bootlace and proved that this was the exact spot where he had the duel with Aaron Burr!

It is funny how many people at my workplace suddenly want to detect due to those shows. One guy bought a detector, went out and dug a bucket full of junk and quit. I told him "that is the norm, you have to keep digging". His response was "if i didn't find anything good by now, I'm not ever going to!". After one week of detecting!!! C'mon man!
