The trigger guard looks to be seperate from the trigger assembly. I cant see any pins in the guard itself. This is an old 12 ga topper that I want to redo.I could be wrong.sendero said:

Those 2 pins hold the trigger assembly together so if you push them out make sure you are familiar with the trigger and can put it back together. Most people make a short slave pin that will hold the trigger together but is short enough to slide out the bottom of the action.
