I am looking for info for Green mountain Drop in barrels for Thompson Center Hawkins. I have 2 percussion barrels. One in .32 cal. and one in .54 cal. I am thinking of selling them and I have no idea how much to ask for them. Both barrels are in very nice condition with ramrods. Thanks for any help

Hey Sparkchaser, you by chance interested in a Green Mt. 33" 50 cal. barrel with rib and ramrod. I just bought a T/C Hawken that came with the factory barrel and the GM. I dont need it, and will make you a great deal. I live in Harrisburg, so no shipping necessary.

ita a 33" barrel, and too heavy for hunting in the brush and stalking!

Rusty, consider having the GM barrel turned round from the nose cap forward, just a smidge more than knocking the corners off the flats. You can shave several ounces to over half a pound off the barrel weight, especially in the front.

Thanks for the tip, but I have a Pedersoli Ky. for a long gun. I like the compactness of the Hawken when trapsing through the laurel. I figure someone will be interested if I put it on the boards. Its drop in and shoot, with rib, thimbles, rod and fiber front sight.
