Wife needed out of the house and went to an Antique Vendor outlet today, she found these two gems there. The Sports Afield is from 1937 and the Outdoor Life is from 1935. Pretty cool to look back through the pages and see the technology used for that time as well as read the articles. I can’t wait to sit down and read the magazine end-to-end.

Took a few to the outhouse in my days! No bar codes or phone # You had to actually write for information, I like looking at the prices! Of course in the back pages there was Mr.Atlas every little kids dream to be a Body Builder;)

I caught a look at the article about sourdough, which was great. The author said "handled skillfully it produces bread that is perfectly sweet and so light you have to pile on extra syrup or molasses to hold it down on your plate."

We don't write that beautifully any more. And we're poorer for it.
