It's not the biggest but she's mine and she my first fisher in the first open fisher season for 2G Tioga County. Caught 12/18/12.
That's our boy Buddy inspecting my catch as he and his sister "Sissy" always do when I bring critters home.

I caught her using a whole dead squirrel in a hay set in a stand of hemlock boarding a stand of oak trees.
I've been carrying road kill porkies in to pe-bait before season for about a month.
Believe it or not by the time the opener for fisher I could'nt find one porkie, dead or alive !
So I pulled one of my grey squirrels that I was going to mount up and used it. I hung the tail about 5-6 feet (not at the trap set it's self) on a branch of a beech sapling about a foot off the ground.
The reason I used a hay set in the woods was because it was not a natural setting to attrack fox, and coyote. This was specificlly for fisher that I have seen in the area two or three times this past fall.
