I'm hooked! This was our second try at yote hunting. Made 5 stands last night and 2 were productive. I missed one on a long poke and high wind but we called one in. So victory! Then we had another one howling up a storm but would not come to the other side of the thicket. But had us all reved up! So for not really having a clue what we are doing and using crap lights i claim victory. lol

I think the scouting in muzzleloader season helped. We just went to all the areas where we saw the most tracks. I'm excited to get out again. Hopefully we get some snow soon to help us out a bit. My lights showing up would also help. Used led 2 d maglights and a black & decker rechargable spot. Maglight doesn't have a great throw. Black and Decker led has a good throw. Probably use this for a scan light the rest of the year.
