I'll be in 2d on a nice patch of private land, my first attempt at a deer in 2d.

Good luck everyone who is going out. I was gonna shoot my inline yesterday after my morning archery hunt but a 6 point made me change my plans. I will sight in today and headband out Monday morning if not this evening. Good luck and be safe!

I hit the road in a couple hours for 2F. Will get the camper set up and relax until Monday morning. Spending the week

Saw 12 deer in all on the morning sit. 10 doe and 2 spikes. Most were out of range or a bad angle. Had one misfire and missed a small doe 20 min later. Really was a great start to the season!

Filled my tag on a 1.5yo doe at 815. Waiting on my buddy who is archery hunting. Fortunately the landowner has a beagle and a spare shotgun...

Gonna sit the early season out this year. Construction on a road not far from my spot, will let the woods quiet down(road workers will be long gone by then) then will head out during the general opener.

Double lung'd a small doe from 20 yards just down from where I missed this morning. Ran 100 USA and piled up. First deer with a flinter, so I'm pretty stoked!
