If they are occasional bourbon drinkers, Makers 46, Larceny. If they are a little more seasoned, Wild Turkey Rare breed, Knob Creek. 🤪

Hang on....found an old thread, i also have a bottle of makers mark ready for tomorrows deep fry turkey job and handling the family :)

i have tried basil haydens and angels envy...both recommended by Coyote John. he hasnt steered me wrong yet.

jeffersons actually sells a manhattan too thats really good but i like making my own.
Weigle’s (I think that’s how you spell it) out of Pittsburgh or Southern Tier American Whiskey. Both are excellent local bourbons and won’t set you back terribly much.

On a larger scale - woodford reserve hands down
i think u mean wiggle whiskey in pittsburgh. woodfords good too

Anything from Buffalo Trace Distillery. Buffalo Trace is the best bang for your buck, quality-wise for a common burboun (meaning you can find it easily). But for a gift, maybe something a little less-easily found at your local state store. I saw Blanton's and Eagle Rare mentioned. I would also add E.H. Taylor or W.L. Weller.
