Got my first double on Mink today, God I love the smell of mink in the morning.

First one was in my dry creek bed, had a conibear in a pocket set that was hit the last 2 days with the conibear sprung with no catch so I replaced it yesterday with a 1.5 victor and had this [censored] female waiting.

Then the next set was a covert under our driveway that I caught a mink in last year and a mangy coyote in this year. Had this nice male waiting for me.

We have a mink farm down the road from us. The mink that I got a few weeks ago was from there it was to big to fit in a conibear. These two look like wild descendants.

Thanks guys.
This makes 5 for the season so far.

Im less then a mile from the milk river, we have a dry creek that runs through our property, about 200 yards before this creek enters our property it is a running stream. The stream disappears into the ground at that point. When the snow melts in the spring the stream runs high through our property and down to the milk river.
The mink follow the creek bed back and forth.
