Im trying to become a more rounded trapper, (No smart #ss remarks)so this year im focusing on one of my weaknesses.....Fur handeling. How do I get my hides to look their best after they are put up? Is there a good way to remove blood that may have dryed on the pelts?

I will rub them down with a washcloth with some warm water. Not enough to soak it. Them brush it out with the fur comb. Never had a problem with it coming out.

BDR something i learned by accident was that on our hose we havea little ( i know i know nothing about you is little) but its a little brass nozzle. and you turn it to open it. if i turned it just a little a very high pressure small stream of water would come out ( think pen tip) and i could literally power wash blood off of belts or whole animals and they wouldnt get very wet. works really well
but the borax is the ticket man that stuff is amazing. or yea dont get em bloody to begin with
