i have a mossberg 20 gauge i took in to gander and they sent it out to the one store that does the camo work on guns,i loved the job they did which was about 6 years ago, but now the camo job they did is peeling off the reciever of the gun. i called them and the gunsmith said that it comes with a one year warranty and nothing gander could do.so i spent nearly 200 bucks on the job and now its peeling off the reciever. any ideas guys on what i could do? i enjoy the 20 guage and took all my turkeys with it. its ashame the camo is peeling off.

if you don't need that high of fidelity on your camo job, you can get a few rattle cans of Krylon Camo - you are painted for 8 bucks and an hour of time. I did my shotty and 2 barrels already, and if the camo gets scuffed, i re-shoot it. plus i can tweak the colors and pattern for the season in about 20 mins. Just a though

$200 was nearly the price of a new mossberg.

i really think you got your money's worth after 6years of hunting and the camo finish is only starting to peel now, why not just use testors hobby paints in the little glass bottles using flat & drab finishes for easy brush touch-up on your firearms finish. i've used this method many times for touch-up work with excellent results.
