Was cutting firewood at the south end of the property yesterday and noticed some partial ears of corn laying around. I was about 30 yards from the property line where the neighbor's corn field starts. Sat down to take a rest and drink a soda and saw a squirrel hauling a partial ear of corn from the corn field into the woods. And then the little rat tried to take it up the side of a maple. He made it up about twenty feet and then dropped the ear. I've seen them do this along the fence row, but never that far across the line.
