I have a traditions deer hunter with simple fixed dove tail sights. The front is a brass blade. I get terrible glare and haze from the sights. How can I correct this?
The sights really tick me off. Especially when it starts getting dark. I think I will just paint mine. I like the brass blade. That doesnt give me problems. Its the back sight. I think I wiill try some paint as well.
All the suggestions are very good, but in a pinch you can smoke them with a match or cigarette lighter. That's not a good thing to do in the woods, but at the range it's a great fix.
