What caliber do you HAVE that you have NOT killed a deer with but want to?
For me its the 32-20.

25-06 & 7mm-08

They're nothing out of the ordinary but I own them and they haven't filled a tag yet.

To be honest; I'd like to see what a 105gr Berger VLD hunting bullet out of my .243AI would do to a deer but the rifle is to heavy for deer hunting.

For me I'm thinkin 25.06 when I HAD it it was set up for chuck huntin to heavy to hunt with and 26" bbl. Also want to someday hunt deer with 223 the twist is right for the heavy .224 bullets and I've read many times here on HPA about guys usein them...later

Nothing fancy, but I just bought a new .30-06 and I plan on using it for deer next season.

Ruger Black hawk 45 Colt. Problem is, I bought my 357 in 1972 and from 1972 to 2008 I have only taken 2 deer with the 357, 2 deer in 36 years with a pistol, but then that perfect shooting situation for an iron sight revolver only comes around on rare occasions in rifle season. I have taken a lot more than two Deer, but will only take the pistol shot if I know its going to be a clean kill.

444 and 8x57. The 444 might never get to shoot a deer. The 8mm will probably get the nod this year if I can bring myself to leave the 257 at home!
