I started a 'Fur Handling' thread on the 'Predator, Varmint and Raccoon Forum ' page, on this site. It' a 'sticky' above regular forum.
Please add to this thread by posting pictures or telling about your methods or solving fur handling problems or ask questions or answer questions.
I know several of you folks have something to offer.
Thanks.

To balance out all the irons in my fires 2 furhandlers are hired to put up fur. I have even found one in the vacation line area to skin and freeze allowing more traps to be run and rest to be had. The home handlers each have been set up with a Blue English fleshing system and stretchers I made. I used to dread starting a pile of coyotes, foxes and coon that may take a few hours or more to put up when I could be out coon hunting or spending time how I wanted to. It works well for me and they appreciate the extra cash and benes they receive.

The line is planned in part to be near one of the fur handlers at the end of the line, avoiding extra travel time.

I had typed up a long explanation of my lines, catches and adventures. The site said I timed out and to re log in. I did and it was lost twice!

To sum it up, Fun is the game not the numbers. The home line was rested for the most part this season. Helping some newbies and landowners with coyote control. The vacation line had 115 sets at peak probably 75 average for 19 days. 31coyote, 31 fox (7 reds released) 27 boar coon kept and 5 bobcats released. I don't run on my trapline unless a cat is chasing me or there is a big buck or longbeard envolved.

Good luck to all and have fun out there!

Kip, when you logged in, did you check the "Remember Me?" box? If not, that was likely the problem. I've had it happen before. I brought it up to the support staff for you regardless.
