I HAVE BEEN SEEING SQUIRELLS AT A LONGER DISTANCE WOULD A FULL CHOKE INSTEAD OF A MODIFIED BE TOO MUCH FOR SQUIRELLS?

I've always used a full choke. Tree rats can be tough to kill. Headshots with a 22lr is way more fun... to me anyway.

IMO, full choke is the best choice if you are targeting squirrels. I've been hunting the same spots for years, they're not that easily fooled. 30+ yard shots are the norm, with #4 high brass. Occasionally I'll tear one up at a closer range, but it beats the alternative of crippling one & losing it.
