Good video, thanks for posting

Do you know what area of the state it was in?
That was in the "pine barrens" south central nj. I went on a couple of these as a young teenager, this is where I fell in love with the hounds, even though I never own a foxhound, I always had beagles, I was amazed on how tough the hounds where.

This was back in the 1980. Today its mostly developments throughout that area.

You would never be able to do this in nj today, sad to say

I thought that one pine tree looked familiar.

I hunted some in the Wharton tract back in the mid 1970's, haven't seen that area for years.

Sad to see some types of dog hunting disappearing.

Very good video. Those guys just loved to hear those hounds sing. None even carried a gun. I liked the segment where the fox hit the road and made a hard left then cut back into the woods. Smart fox. If they would have had coyotes in Jersey back then they could have had some long chases with that many hounds.
