Operate, keep him out for the rest of the season, but do whatever it takes to get the poor guy healthy again.

This just makes it worse and proves what a bunch of tool headed morans the Pens org is run by. All they do is mislead at every corner and when they're not miss leading they are putting teams together that miss a broken freakin neck. If it weren't for the fact that I love the players it would be really hard to like this organization at any level. I hate them all from Shero up.

Please! With all the attention being paid to concussions, it's not hard to believe that they would miss this, especially if Crosby never complained of neck pain. You people, as well as the media, need to start thinking of placing blame where it belongs. CROSBY! If he was having problems with his neck, he should have said something. Unless you can prove he did, the responsibility falls to him and him alone.

I dont care who is responsible. I care about what has to be done to get it fixed and get the guy healthy again. Hopefully, he resumes playing, but either way he has to get this over with.

yup...he's in over his head.
You didn't really just say that. Did you?! Crosby in over his head? Really?!? What on earth would make you believe that? The best hockey player in the world is in over is head. You Flyer fans operate on some wierd logic that I will never understand.

I just read an article on Yahoo sports. Bylsma said Sid was "nowhere near" ready to return and there was no time table for his return. He was only skating with Staal and Depres in those pics, hence no need for a white helmet.

Hmmmmm.... Player struggling to return from concussion symptoms, fans questioning his toughness, team doctors misdiagnose a serious injury... keeps getting more and more familiar...

There are so many people that have lost faith in him. Personally, I just want closure in there. If this is going to linger for years to come I'd just as well let him walk of better yet, retire and be dont with it. That Money we are wasting on him is the differnce between making the playoffs and winning the playoffs. We have little to no chance at a cup while he's just lingering. I feel like he is done but will drag the franchise down for years to come. I hope I'm wrong but I seem right as this second.

It is starting to sound like the Lindros saga. But the questioning of Crosby's toughness isn't as common as you might think.

Just because 'they' didn't tell 'us' there was a neck injury doesn't mean they missed it folks. They just told us that Staal has a sprained left MCL....up until now it's just been a 'knee' injury. Maybe the California Dr. wasn't told not to mention the neck injury...or ignored/forgot the instruction.

This wouldn't surprise me the least bit.

There are many who have come here, but there is only one Burgandy. In a strange way, I sort of miss him--in the same way I miss the ex wife.

That's sort of impressive because I feel complimented and insulted at the same time!
