Well today I set out on another one..This time I was able to get my father to come along.. He was the one who showed me how to fish this creek and somehow hasn't been on it for 14 years.. I even got him to try out kayaking for the water was to low to canoe..It was a great time even though it started pouring halfway through.. Seems to be a normal occurance on my days off anymore.. Well here are a few pictures..
Caught 3 that were in the 12-14 range...

Caught one nice one.. I am saying 16-17??? It took me five minutes to land it on the ultralight...

Caught a few smaller ones... I landed six total, lost 4, and had at least 10 more hits.. Awesome day in the wilderness... We also got to see this guy watching over us..

Good luck man! It's prime time for them IMO... The creeks are pretty low so I suggest a kayak if you are planning to float or even wading... Either way, good luck and have fun!!
