Fishing trip suggestions

2015 Views 6 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  bobcat
Wife and I are planning a fishing trip this August and are looking for suggestions. Love walleye fishing but getting older so not interested in 15 hour plus trips to northern Quebec. Not interested in great lake trolling. Also, bass, white bass or hybrid stripers would be great. Any direction from Pa would be fine if within a 8-10 hour drive. Any help would be appreciated.

What about a striper trip to the east coast? Or a salt water trip in general?
How about a guided trip on the Potomac below DC. You could target bass/snakeheads, chase stripers(not sure what size is around at that time) or try for monster blue catfish. Maybe stay over and try a combo deal.

Sorry can't personally recommend any guides.
Wallys & Bass - Oneida Lake - just above Syracuse.

That lake = Fish factory...

only downside - keep a close eye on weather- storms roll in fast and furious.

I shouldn't tell you this but Guffin bay and Chaumont bay NY cannot be beat for spring walleye.
