The joys of relasing critters. Caught this one about 25 yrds or so from where I got my male during the season. They are fast when released.

I never thought I would get one let alone two. They are interesting when you get up close and personal with them. The pics of it laying and looking at me it was weird never had anything try to trick me into getting even closer. I would move and it would move back then get real close and lay there and make that squrriel on steriod noise. It knew my dad was coming to help before I seen him. Didn't like my dad but that was good didn't see me with two y sticks coming in the circle. Talk about fun to hold down chewed apart a section of the Y on one stick and had to repin the head and free paw with it but they can fight. Ever see a cat fight on it's back that's about what it was like. Dad just barley opened the trap and gone like now. He looked at me and said I thought you had it, I said I did it went away from us didn't it lol. Feels good keeping one in season and now releasin one and dragging the old man down to help he never seen a live fisher.
