I understand what you mean , but seeing the kids get excited in case school gets cancelled so they can sled ride brings back childhood memories . When it does work out for the kids , I get the fire outside going and break out the hot chocolate , hotdogs and marshmallows . I won't sled ride anymore , but it's hilarious watching them while I stay warm tending the fire & cooking .

Still enjoy snow work wise it's OT and translates into boat fuel or more toys:).
Still like hunting in it just only like 6" or so for tracking and dragging.
Like taking the grandkids over to Big Boulder to tube, not stupid enough to ski anymore.
Snow brings people and up here a foot is a mear inconvenience and within hours people are out and about.
For the season here they are calling for a total of 45 to 50".
Probably after tonight they will be making snow at night, and have limited operations next weekend.

Let it snow Let it Snow Let it Snow

Had 4" here at 6:30 this morning, but that was on the fence and mail box type of items , no snow stuck to the black top driveway, as the past three days of near or over 60 temps had blacktop warmed up.
Yard was probably close to 4", but I didn't measure it. Been several squals all morning, but not enough to add to the totals.

Wow ! We only have about a 1/2 inch on the grass . Wind & temps are pretty nasty though . Sure wish we still headed north for bear season . This weather would perfect .
