So I went out today around 6 was my first time going out at night. I did a few stands and well we didnt see anything exept a deer 200 yards away. Was it to bright out tonight it is a full moon I think or almost a full moon.
If you have many locations to hunt, and have scouted properly, you' should be able to find a place to hide from the moon. In the shadow of a tree, brushline, etc. Scouting is not just about finding predators, you should also find places to hide depending upon which way you'll play the wind. There are some places I do not go unless we are getting a Nor'easter, because of wind and "hiding" considerations.
