This is my first real try at a food plot. Spread some lime last year then planted this year with Throw and grow and an extra little bag of clover. This plot is about a quarter acre.

Another view of it.

Here is a little test plot. Sprayed the weeds on June 6 . Raked and planted on the 13th. This is just some old seed I got about 4years ago at the sportsmen show in a box. Size of this is about 20' by 20'

The deer found the test plot already, deer track in the middle.

Do you have a trail cam set up on it to see what is using it?

Nice work...no opening in that woods will ever look the same again.

The little plot doesn't get to much light, just what comes through the trees and maybe two hours of direct sunlight when the sun is high in the sky.

2'x 2' is plenty either have a high enough fence so the deer can't stick its head in or put a fence over the top of it to keep them out.

Is that just to gauge how much is being eaten off?
