Hey Guest, it looks like you haven't made your first post yet. Until you make an introduction thread, the rest of the site is locked to posting. Why not take a few minutes to say hi!
We needed the rain in this area and I think it won't be too bad tomorrow. I hunted last night in Ohio in perhaps the worst rain I can ever remember while in a tree. Not a smart move on my part to hunt had bad winds, lightning and super heavy rain. It never stopped raining but slowed a little an hour before dark and did see a big ten point and lots of doe.
My son changed jobs recently and gets 0 vacation days or sick days this year during the season, so we are going tomorrow. I think what I'm going to do is since we have lock ons ready in the area we are going, I'm going in wearing my rain suit, with my bow, bow hook and harness. Keeping as much stuff dry as I can unless I need it.
Have the tree umbrella ready and a good rain jacket I used yesterday when we checked the trail cams. That setup works ok as long as the wind isn't too bad?
