i have been hankering for a vintage s&w K22 for years and never found one i could afford until a few weeks ago. picked up this 1948 vintage k22 on gunbroker and just got a chance to shoot it today. what a nice peice. i was blowing up pop cans full of water at 40 yards about 4 out of 6 shots with it. its not a beauty queen, and shows some honest wear and non-original grips but it is exactly what i wanted for plinking and squirrel hunting. i am quite pleased with it and am going to try some CCI ammo in it tomorrow. these old smiths are as sweet as they come.

How can you tell they are not original rips? I would love to get shed of the pachmar junk on my K22 and have the ones shown on yours.
