I have researched fairly well and have narrowed my first crossbow choices to either the Parker Enforcer 160 or the Wicked Ridge Invader 180. My third choice would ba a Parker Tornado 165, but that would be stepping up the cost to about $700 from $500 for the other two. Not that I can'y handle that cost, but is it worth it for me.

My determining factors were a lighter weight bow eaiser for a 60 Year old guy to handle. I shoot on a small farm, wooded and shots would be under 40 yards for Whitetails only.

One thing swaying me toward the Parkers is a reticled scope not a red dot.

Can anyone offer and final thoughts on helping me with my decision?

Thanks to all.

Oh, I am pretty much limited to Cabelea's as I have about $100 in points to use.

Thanks to all with any help.

Parker Enforcer is the one to beat in that price range...my Dad (70) shoot my son's and liked it more than my Tornado. The light weight and accuracy are what won him over.

Granted I have never held a wicked ridge, but can't see someone beating the Parker product and backing in that price range.

Parker. Shoot them both see which you like best. I have the buckbuster175 and like it a lot but I wouldn't call it lightweight but it shoots really nice

Thanks to all,
Drove to Cabela's today and bought the Parker Enforcer. Shot it and a few others and that seemed the best fit for me.

the parker tornado and cyclone anchor their yokes with something that slides inside the cam opening which steered me away from those models; I snagged a leftover Terminator 175 (no longer an active model)...the closest in the current lineup would be the buck buster 175; out of my terminator I get 329 fps shooting a bolt/tip combo weighing 430 grains...very efficient & speedy design

Welcome to the Parker Family! Great Crossbow one of my personal favorite crossbows that Parker ever made. I love the rifle like feel.

Thanks to all. I have tried a few shots with it and am amazed at the accuracy out to 35 yards. I had to back off from 20 yards quickly as I damaged a few nocks........groups within a quarter size. Will stick to that range for a while until I venture a bit farther. 40 is probably max for where I hunt.
