Checked out a bench on a mountain I have been for 25 years. Some of it was timbered this past winter. It was a selective cut that was done, but it opened things up pretty good.

Anyway, the areas that were cut are now FULL of ferns. The other areas that were not cut have little to no ferns at all. I didn't think ferns would take over this quickly. Anybody know what gives?

We put two cameras out tonight in funnels created by the timbering. The sign was was moderately good. Will post pictures this weekend if there are any.

Ted, ferns love sunlight and will take over very quickly.

They did, hard to believe the difference.

Picking up cams tomorrow morning, anxious to see if we got anything on them.
