What all do you guys like to pack for food when you will be camping out for over a week? Im heading to Canada mid August and will be staying in a tent and cooking with a small coleman camp cooker and a fire. I am trying to make sure that I am as prepared as possible so I don't go to hungry.

Will you be using a cooler? I would suggest foil packs. Freeze before leaving and pack in ice during the trip. Can be cooked in a skillet.

Mountain House freeze dried meal packs. You can get a bucket of 10 entrees and a couple of breakfast meals for around $65.00 on Amazon or Sam's Club.
The Entrees are 2.5 serving size. Just add hot water.

I second the Mountain House packs. Lived off them in Alaska for 11 days. If you can supplement them with some meat or fish, then all the better.
Still, if you are camping at a drive-in spot, I'd take as much fresh food as you had refrigeration for.
Finally, I don't want to sound stupid as it's kinda obvious but you can;t pack bottled water in to cook all that foil pack stuff with. Get yourself one of those water filtration/purification pumps like made by Katahdin to keep yourself in good water. Don't just dunk it out of a lake or stream.

If you can drive to your camping spot, I think I'd be taking the two largest and best coolers I had and be eating a lot better than messing around with those foil pack meals.

Second that...

I have gone 5 days on dehydrated and that is long enough. Supplementing the cooler with a few just because you might not feel like cooking might be a idea though.

Just a suggestion, if you have a vacuum sealer, vacuum pack everything bagles. They look funny, but stay fresh. A little cheese and some summer sausage makes a lunch that doesnt take up much space, you dont have to cook, and you can eat on the move.

We make up alot of stuff ahead and freeze in jugs, sloppy joes, bean soup, spaghettisauce, etc. They will stay frozen along time if you don't open the cooler alot. Keep legal beverages in a separate cooler!

Take the pot you will be using and freeze chili, soup, stew etc...inside a vacume seal bag, it will be a frozen popsicle sized right for the pan

i used to dehydrate the foods i liked eating..
sloppy joe pastas but would take a small soft cooler if i could for a nice meal for day two and three
