Is it wort the time to replace a worn out seat (sling type) on an otherwise good ladderstand. Where do you find them ?

I replaced the seat on my summit climber. It attached easily with some hog rings and was around $30.

Got a replacement seat from API for another brand. The API seat has a good bit of adjustment so I think it would fit any stand.

Sometimes you don't have to go directly to the tree stand company. Sometimes you can; sometimes you can't.

A few years ago, I replaced the back and seat. Bought some new foam at a fabric store for a great price. A lot of things are lower in price, if "hunting" isn't mentioned.

And my tree stand had many parts that were easily replaceable at hardware stores and fabric centers.

I replaced the seat on my hanging treestand for 10 bucks. It was a sling type locktite stand. I bough it at Harries Army Navy in Bordentown N.J.
