I have his book....I believe it may be out of print now. Excellent book by-the-way. IMO, he may be the greatest mink trapper ever. He would catch 300+ mink in an era when everyone and his brother were trapping mink.

MM... the name of the book is Mink Tales, by Marvin "Bud" Hall. I couldn't agree more with you Datkins. Bud Hall was a mink trapper without equal. Of all my trapping books (and I must have 50-75), this one's my favoite. I wouldn't sell it for $100. This guy was the real deal. I wish I could have met him.

Little Bear, just a note: I did get to meet Mr. Bud Hall ! It was the year the NTA convention was in Iowa. Want to say Waterloo or Davenport ? Not sure of which one or year as memory not that good. I actually took trapping instructions from Bud & spent 2-3 great days with him !! You are correct in saying he was the "real deal". !! A very humble & decent guy !
