We didn't hunt together one time. Same time from different boats but not together. What the heck?

Need to start working the dogs soon again. Have to get this chocolate dog ready for next season. My black dog probably hunted her last hunt. Took her out on the river a few weeks ago and it dang near killed her. She's got arthritis pretty bad.

Thanks everyone, heading out on the river in a about an hour to take a cruise for something to do.

Chris, We will get the dogs out hopefully soon. I took at minimum 7 other people out with me this year at one time or another. I advised them that next year may be even harder. I am now on the same work days as my brother so we have off the same days.

I'm going out to see your Goldeneye now, just got the call that my brothers ready to head out for the ride.

It is kinda nice knowing other guys out there in boats while hunting. Never know when you might need a hand.

Chris, Mr. Goldeneye was out there today with about 200 or so other friends. We also saw Pintails, Blue Bills, Common Mergansers, a crap load of Buffleheads (thought I was on the coast of NC), Widgeons, a few Mallards, lots of Black Ducks, at least 10 Bald Eagles (a few nesting) and some other ducks that just couldn't get a good look at. I'm sure some other divers were around but most took off pretty far out. I'll try to get back out in a few weeks or so again.

Pat, did you do your drawing yet? You and Jason will have to come out this summer for a weekend.

Brent, Brian N told me that he saw a flock of about 100 canvasbacks the other day. Figures! Don't think for one minute that the ducks don't get a copy of the seasons too!!
