Shes back from Idaho. Had the brake installed and I got a thread protector as well.

Now I just need a nice Saturday to try her out.

I wear ear plugs no matter if I am shooting a 22lr to a 300wm.

Its a 25-06. I use this setup alot for ground hogs so taking the time to put ear plugs on is not a big deal.

This is the second gun I have owned thats has a brake on it, just hope I like this brake design better than the other one.

Shot the 25-06 this morning. The recoil is less than the .223 (shot that right before the 25-06). Theres a change in the dB level, but its not bad.

The only problem I had was the Buckmaster scope was sticking on the elevation change. I am hoping it was the first of the year shooting jitters and not a bunged up scope.
