Depending on what type of computer you have there are a few options. Apple/Mac's come with iMovie and you should be able to do it. Windows comes with Movie Maker (Windows 10 you have to download it) but that's what I have used in the past. You can trim your videos, splice them together to make a longer video, etc.

I've also got a PowerDirector that I'm now using for editing my filmed hunts and will probably use that for my TC vids. Hope that helps.

Actually I use movie maker for both my trail cam videos and also my action camera videos.... a lot of times i'll even put the two videos together since I usually where my action cams out while checking trail cams.

Just stumbled across VideoPad and am editing hunting video with it. It is free as well. Very easy to use and more features than Movie Maker.

As pops mentioned, Windows Movie Maker, IMovie will basically do what you want to accomplish...

I use PowerDirector and VideoStudio for video editing and I think you'd be further ahead with one of these products. You can crop and export pretty quick with them.
I have licensed (legit) version of PD 14 Ultimate, that I'm looking to get rid of if your interested.

Thanks,
