I am old enough and have enough aches and pains that I need to apply for an elk unit that has easy access options. Any ideas as to what unit that would be?

Oops, sorry, I was wondering about PA. Even though its long odds to draw a tag, I'd still like to know, if it is known, what unit to specify for easiest access for an old guy who doesn't get around very well.

Any unit contained even in part by the 50.000 acre Quehanna
wilderness area would be a good choice. It includes large
portions of Cameron,Elk,and Clearfield counties which are
the prime areas. There are numerous food plots either visable
or in close proximity to roads open for vehicles.

Every unit has some easy access areas and some difficult to access areas.

I can't think of any unit that stands out as being any easier than the others as far as ease of a hunter effort. Some of the easy access areas within pretty much any of the units could have elk come into them at any given time. It is just a matter of being lucky enough to be at the right one at the right time.
