I saw on the trout stocking schedule that Dutch fork lake was scheduled to be stocked today. My brother took a ride out there this past Saturday and there wasn't a drop of water to be found. Today I saw a stocking truck at the eighty four exit off of i70. This was around 12:45. The only body of water around on the list was Dutch fork at 1:15. Would they have just stocked the creek?

May have to take a trip to the delayed harvest section tomorrow and do some investigating.

my brother ended up driving out and as the article says, there is some water in it. A little confused why they kept so many trees standing. Happy that the lake is on its way back, though.

The trees will make great structure as the lake recovers. It will make fishing some parts of it very cumbersome to say the least. I still think it will take years for it to return to what it was like.

P.S. - Thanks for the info I have been looking for quite some time about good news on Dutch Fork!
