I want to plant sourgum, oats, and turnips in a foodplot, planted at different times. I tilled it under and am wondering what to do next plant or kill weeds? Last year the fox... overtook the plot. It has already started to regrow. Do I plant and then spray or ... spray then plant? If I spray and plant won't I redisturb the soil and new unwanted seeds sprout? I plan on broadcasting? What to spray and when?

Also can I use the same stuff in the garden?

Every plot of mine I have mowed it down then sprayed. Waited a week, tilled or disked it up. Ran a drag over it after it dried a little then boadcasted seed.

Foxtail is a real tough one to eliminate. I'd spray again as the new growth sprouts. It just puts so many seeds into the soil it is hard to control.

If it was me, I'd consider using the summer to control it, then put in a fall annual for fall and winter.

Trt Journey on it. mix at 10 to 16 oz per acre. I use it often on ROW and it seems to work well.
