This show begins on June 11th. One of the dudes is Dave Canterbury. I don't know him but he lives near me. I ran into him at the local surplus store looking for a wool scarf. He said he needed it for a show he was filming. At the time I didn't know he was working for the discovery channel. Here is a link to the show.

Well I watched it today and so far I'm not impressed. It appears they paired these guys together to create some conflict to make the show more interesting. I haven't decided who I'd rather have to survive with.

yeah I agree about the pants and shoes. But he did seem to know somewhat what he was talking about and the shelter with the space blanket and plastic was cool. The marine did some stupid stuff to. Going out at night to check his traps he could have broke his neck.

I think the show is pretty Interesting. Putting these two together make for good conflict but you have two very different trains of thought tackling the same task and together. They come up with some good solutions in my opinion.

I watched this so a few times now.. It has some good things in it.. As far as the no shoes thing he is not complaining about them at all and if he hasnt worn shoes for the last 20 some years his feet would be extremely tough.. Its not slowing him down in the least bit. Wouldnt be my choice but hey to each his own..

I would have to agree with that shelter he made that was good stuff right there.. Also gotta give him credit for catching that eel with his sock lol..

I don't mind this show, but the bickering back and forth is kind of annoying. I get the feeling the producers of the show are blowing some of the things out of proportion though to build "drama" in the show.

I would never go barefoot in these places like Cody has, but other than that, I actually like Cody a lot more than the other guy, Dave.

Going after the gator was stupid. Really cool, but stupid.

I like to watch Dave. I guess I can relate to him. If I'm lost, I'd probably be doing the same stuff he does. I would not be barefoot eating bugs and drinking water full of fly larva and calling it protein. I'd be killing a porcupine and cooking that bad boy on a stick.
