Is it possible to dry leeks? Maybe dry and then chop so it would be like onion flakes or powdered garlic? Anyone ever tried it? Instructions.

leeks + dehydrator...

let'r rip. when crunchy, bust them up and put in a shaker bottle... just thinkin out loud

Thxs for thoughts. I was kinda hoping that I could get them dehydrated so they did not need freezing (freezer space issue)

stuff 'em ina qt jar then cover with vinegar. Great salad dressing !!
