I recently saw a picture of an arrow rest that looked similar to the bowtech capture rest (the one with the 3 little brushes) But if I read it right the brushes dropped or sprung away to eliminate drag on the arrow shaft.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about. I'd like to know more about it and don't remember where I saw the picture.
thanks for the help

There is also one made by athens archery called the omega http://www.athensarchery.com/alpha.html

Not sure which you were looking at, I've heard some good reviews of the Athens rest. The tri-van sounds too problematic. The tensioner that you set to adjust for arrow diameter seems to come loose every 40-50 shots based on several reviews I've seen. They are also reported to be loud.
